What is the Nationwide Repair Warranty?

The Parts Authority Service Center Warranty is a 24-month / 24,000-mile parts and labor warranty on specific service and repair work performed by participating repair facilities. It covers consumers when they return to the original repair center and experience a repair failure. The consumer pays nothing for the warranty – they receive it for free on repairs they have performed. It also provides roadside assistance for tow services and rental car reimbursement (limited to pre-approved amounts by Warranty Assistance Center, prior to service being provided). This is not a Vehicle Service Contract or Extended Warranty program.

Who Participates in the Warranty Program?

The Parts Authority Certified Service Center Warranty Program is open to participating customers. Work performed by The Provo Car Doctor is usually covered. For more information on coverage, limits, and exclusions, please contact The Provo Car Doctors.

What Does the Nationwide Repair WArranty Cover?

  • Air Conditioning,  heating, and climate control systems
  • Brake Systems
  • Clutches - clutch component or assembly repair and replacement
  • Engine cooling system(s)
  • Engine performance, drivability services and repair
  • Electrical system(s)
  • Electronic Engine Management System and other on-board computer systems, (engine, body, brake, and suspension computers), cruise control systems
  • Emission control system(s)
  • Exhaust system(s)
  • Fuel system(s)
  • Hybrid Drive batter replacements (with battery manufacturer)
  • Ignition system(s)
  • Starting & Charging system(s)
  • Steering / Suspension system(s), wheel bearings, CV joints, half-shafts, and driveshafts
  • Other minor repairs and services

How Does the Program Work?

Keep a copy of the original repair. Return to the Pronto Service Center where the original work was performed. If your vehicle is inoperable or cannot be driven without further damage, you can be reimbursed up to $90 for Towing and/or $50/day for up to 2 days while the vehicle is being re-repaired, if authorized.

If you cannot return to the original shop, call the Warranty administrator prior to confirm the warranty, pre-authorize the repair work and provide reimbursement for the re-repair up to the amount of the original warrantied work.
